I had the pleasure meeting Mike Upchurch, the band’s Leader, in his recording studio to learn more about Mike and the Wavemakers.
The band plays progressive rock, classic rock, blues, and oldies music. They are currently recording their first original album.
Band members include: Songwriter, Singer, and Guitarist Mike Upchurch; Bass Player Randy Moore; Keyboard Player and Backup Singer Debbie Upchurch; and Drummer Frank Howell.
They perform for intimate gatherings where people sing along to large parties. You name the venue and they can do it!
Mike uses his love for music and experience as an English Teacher to provide acoustic and electric guitar lessons in his studio.
