Operation Medicine Drop sponsored by the Neuse Riverkeeper Foundation!

Dump your drugs, no questions asked!

New Bern, NC - The Neuse RIVERKEEPER® Foundation is pleased to be sponsoring OPERATION MEDICINE DROP (OMD).

OMD is an opportunity to rid your medicine cabinet of unused drugs in a safe controlled manner. This event will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM at REALO Discount Drug pharmacy located at 2117 S. Glenburnie Road, New Bern.

OPERATION MEDICINE DROP provides a way to join the fight against drug abuse, protecting your family and pets against accidental ingestion and helps keep the drugs from entering our waters, keeping them cleaner and safer.

Discarding your unused drugs in the garbage or into a toilet/sink is not safe for the environment. The OPERATION MEDICINE DROP is the safe way to discard the unused drugs safely, and the drop-off location will be supervised by an officer from the New Bern Police Department.

Bring your prescription and over-the-counter medicines to the event location listed above and keep them out of the wrong hands and out of our waters.
