New Bern, NC will be celebrating its 300th Christmas season as well as its 300th Anniversary. The Downtown Council of the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce has started its planning for a Christmas everyone will remember.
Festivities will start on November 26th and run to December 24th, 2010. Make your plans now to join us in celebrating our 300th Christmas. The Downtown businesses, non-profit organizations, City of New Bern and New Bern citizens are going all out to make this a Christmas to remember.
We will bring back our fabulously popular “Dickens of a Christmas”, story boards, business wreath contest, Salvation Army Christmas carolers, Santa in Bear Plaza, Christmas parade, and many, many more exciting and new Christmas themes.
As the Downtown Council completes its Christmas Calendar of events we will keep everyone informed through additional press releases as well as on our blog.
