Did you know that every year, there are hundreds of thousands of children mistreated through abuse and/or neglect. In 2009, 373 NC children lost their lives to child abuse.
Next month, the Guardian Ad Litem, District 3B program plans to raise awareness by using used children’s blue shoes as a visual aid that represents every child that lost their lives because of abuse or neglect.
They NEED YOUR HELP! They need used Children’s blue shoes to complete their traveling exhibit. They are looking for all different sizes from infant to 16 years old.
Please drop off used children’s BLUE shoes at the New Bern Sun Journal office located at 3200 Wellons Blvd in New Bern. They’ve been collecting all month and the last day is March 30th.
